Cagrilinitide

Cagrilinitide (or “Cagri”) is a long-acting, lipidated, albumin-binding amylin agonist that targets both amylin and calcitonin receptors. It is used in the treatment of obesity, either on its own or in combination with GLP-1 receptor agonists. Amylin is co-secreted with insulin from pancreatic beta cells and regulates appetite, satiety, gastric emptying, and glucose control.

Combining Cagrilinitide with a GLP-1 like Semaglutide has a synergistic effect, amplifying weight loss beyond what either peptide achieves independently. Other benefits include improved circulation, reduced blood pressure, enhanced bone-building activity, and vasodilation.

Possible Side Effects

  • Injection site reaction (redness, swelling, itching, hives)

  • Gallbladder stones (rare)

Contraindications

  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Reconstitution

ADMINISTRATION METHOD: Subcutaneous Administration

TIMING: Once per week, always on the same day. Take 3-4 days after GLP injection or on the day you start to feel the most hunger coming back.

CYCLE LENGTH: 8 weeks followed by a 4-8 week washout period. Do not use for more than 12 weeks consecutively. 

 

VIAL SIZE: 5mg

BAC WATER: 2mL

DOSING: 

  • Week 1: 8 units (200mcg)

  • Week 2: 16 units (400mcg)

  • Wee 3: 30 units (750mcg)

  • Week 4: 48 units (1.2mg)

  • Week 5: 68 units (1.7mg)

  • Week 6: 88 units (2.2mg)

(Once you find which dose works best for appetite suppression without side effects, stay at that dose. Do not increase unless you are not getting any appetite suppression)
